1. Save-the-date card

Save the dates are the first item in your wedding stationery that offers the first glimpse of what's to come. Typically sent out 6-12 months before your big day to give your loved ones plenty of notice.

Wedding invitations are the heart of your stationery suite and set the tone for your entire wedding day. These days, however, there are so many options and choices to choose from which we understand can be overwhelming. Our friendly team are here to make this stage of your wedding planning as hassle free as possible. We are here to work with you to produce beautifully designed and printed wedding stationery that both you and your guests will love.  

To make your life simpler we will help guide you through the options based on your theme, style, colour preference and budget as well as the paper and ink treatments available. We can create a custom invite design for you, print files can be supplied or we have a range of wedding template designs on hand. No matter your budget or style we are confident we can provide bespoke wedding invitations for your special day. To get the process started we offer free sample packs posted to your door or offer face-to-face consultations with our sales and design team in-house. We are flexible and happy to liaise with you in person, over the phone or via email, whatever suits your busy lifestyle. 

3. Information Cards 

Invitations, envelopes, but what else should be in your stationery checklist?  If you have any extra details beyond the main invite content, we suggest adding information cards to your stationery suite. Information cards, or accessory cards are included with your wedding invitation to add any extra details that won’t fit on the main invitation. Accessory cards can include the following:

Let’s talk wedding envelopes! Envelopes tend to be an afterthought when it comes to wedding stationery, with focus usually on the invitations and accessory cards. However, envelopes are one of the most important items in your wedding stationery suite. When your invitation arrives in the mail, the envelope is the first thing your guests will see, getting a glimpse of what's to come. You create the first impression with the envelopes, so why not make them special as the contents inside.

At Fast Print Services we have a range of envelopes to choose from in a variety of sizes, textures and styles. Most of our envelopes are a banker shape with a deep or V shape flap and a lick and stick seal. There are an an assortment of envelope colours to choose from, ranging from matching white or ivory to bright pink and classic black. Envelopes can be provided blank or printed in CMYK or white ink with personalised names and addresses on the front and a return address on the back. We can also supply custom envelope liners which can be a beautiful extra touch. For a premium envelope finish we can also hot stamp foil a design or monogram on to your envelopes but not any variable information.

Wedding Invitations Finishing Options

Various finishes can be applied to both digital and bespoke printing. These include: Embossing, Hot Stamp Foiling, Letterpress, Blind Debossing, Digital Foiling, White Ink Printing, Die Cutting, Lasercutting, Duplexing, Scoring, Perforating, Rounded corners, Edge Foiling, and Hole punching. An additional time is often required for each finishing process. Price and turnarounds are available on application.

• Foiling: Available in multiple colours but most common in metallic gold, silver, rose gold, and copper for that regal look. 
• Embossing and Debossing: Get bossy and add a third dimension to your printing.
• Letterpress: Old school but popular for weddings. PMS ink and pressed in to indent usually thicker and uncoated stocks
• Die Cutting: Add an extra dimension to your print by cutting it to shape. Just about any shape is possible with a large variety of shapes available. 
• Scoring/Folding: Scoring makes folding easier on heavy card and reduces the chance of the ink cracking on the folded area. A great option for folded invitations. 
• Laser cutting: Cutting items to a bespoke shape. More cost effective for small quantities than die cutting. Smooth stocks only
• Perforations: A great option for tear of RSVP cards. 
• Drilling: A great option for assembling cards together.
