External floor decals can be provided on request, supplied with higher tack adhesive for outside substrates. • Best Surfaces for floor vinyl

Our high-quality self-adhesive vinyl (SAV) can adhere to almost any surface including tiles, wooden laminates, concrete and short pile carpets. They can be used for removable or more permanent use for both internal and external flooring. We have a range of floor vinyl and laminate finishes to choose from. If you are unsure if our vinyls will adhere to your surface, we are able to send you a sample to test the suitability.

• Floor sticker sizes

There is no maximum size for floor vinyls as we can split artwork into sections for large format decals. Although there is no minimum size, please keep in mind that smaller surfaces can cause the sticker to peel off. Our floor decals can be customised to any size to accommodate your artwork or design.

• Floor decal shapes

Our floor stickers can be specially cut to any shape, whether it be straight cut, round or profile cut lettering. All we need is a vectorised PDF file with a cut line and we can create any shape required. If unable to provide the guide, our talented team at Storm Design can assist in setting up the file. We suggest however that you avoid small text or copy which can peel up easily.

• Floor sticker application

Our floor stickers are provided with a release liner on the reverse. This is to be removed during the application process. The release liner prevents the adhesive from sticking to unwanted surfaces. All our floor decals are available for shipping or collection for DIY application, or we offer an installation service with one of our expert team to fit the graphics for you.

Floor vinyl can be applied in the same way as other vinyl stickers. We recommend ensuring the surface is smooth and as clean and dry as possible.

• Outdoor vinyl stickers

The lifespan of our external floor stickers will vary depending on the location, the amount of foot traffic and the weather conditions it’s exposed to. Vinyl graphics can be adhered to outdoor surfaces such as pavements, concrete, tile and timber and can be provided with a stronger adhesive tac and non-slip seal for maximum durability.
