A cost-effective board range, buffalo kraft is natural and raw with visible fibres one side and lusciously smooth on the other. Its unique two-ply design gives it outstanding strength and durability with natural kraft fibres that are fully recyclable. A popular board used for packaging it is moisture resistant and food contact approved by ISEGA standards.
A highly versatile stock, buffalo kraft is suitable for wedding invitations, stationery, drink coasters, packaging, bespoke printing, point of sale, menus, swing tags, business cards, brochures, booklet covers, backing board, case binding, blister applications, cosmetic and luxury packaging, food grade use, freezer and fridge applications, and point of sale items.
From packaging to bespoke projects, buffalo kraft produces exceptional print quality with full coverage digital CMYK and stands out from the crowd with letterpress and metallic foiling. Our personal favourite result we would recommend for this stock is a luscious white ink print which is suitable for a variety of applications.
Buffalo kraft boards are PEFC certified, using fibres sourced from responsibly managed forests and contains a minimum of 18% of carefully selected, clean industrial pre consumer recycled content. Made carbon neutral from raw material and using facilities that are accredited with SFI and ATFS certificates. Where possible, the mill reduces energy generated by using biomass (non-fossil) fuel.
With only the one kraft brown colour to choose the buffalo we keep in house is 225, 230 and 285gsm with 80 and 115gsm paper weights available upon special request.
Buffalo kraft 115gsm is available in two types of envelopes, a wallet peel and seal and a V flap lick and stick. The wallet sizes are 11B, C6, DL, C5 130x184, 130x130 and 150x150mm with the V flap style in DL, 80x130 and 150x150mm.
